Uniform Grading Policy
Cadets who do not wear the prescribed uniform three (3) consecutive times will earn a Failing Grade (F) for the nine-week grading period regardless of other performance. Donning the uniform and honoring our brave men and women military, police, firefighting , EMT and other first-responders is one of the basic tenets of the Navy JROTC program. We teach SERVICE OVER SELF and LEADERSHIP.
Cadets are required to wear their uniform the entire school day at least one time per week or at other prescribed times as designated by the instructors. If a cadet is not willing to take the responsibility to wear the uniform, after the equivalent of one month, then they are sending a loud and clear message they do not desire to earn the credits. An 'Exempt' score will be accessed in the case of a unit supply issue that results in a cadet not being issued a major uniform item or for other mitigating circumstances.
